Community Council Meeting

February 21, 2024

3:30 PM

In Attendance:

Heather Georgi motioned to call the meeting to order at 3:30 p.m. Bre seconded the motion.

Heather Georgi reviewed, and the council approved November’s meeting minutes.

Heather Georgi shared a data presentation that provided an overview of the implementation of the School LAND Trust Plan and the Teacher and Student Success Plan (TSSA).

Monica Widdison with WSD Digital Teaching and Learning presented the Digital Citizenship presentation.

Heather Georgi went over the Completed Final Report for the Trustland Plan 2022-2023.

Heather Georgi opened a discussion on recommendations about next year’s Teacher and Student Success Plan (TSSP):

• Continue focus on tracking student growth via Acadience Reading and Math
• Consider professional development on Science of Reading in place of PLC conference
• Continue to invest in intervention aides and appropriate training per their role in the building
• Consider adding opportunities for parent engagement (Ex: Family Literacy Night) into plan and budget as needed
