Community Council Meeting

October 25, 2023

3:30 PM

In Attendance:

Heather Georgi motioned to call the meeting to order at 3:30 p.m. Bre seconded the motion.

Heather Georgi presented an overview of the School LAND Trust Plan and the Teacher and Student Success Plan (TSSA) for the 2023-2024 school year.

Heather Georgi shared a draft of council meetings for the school year. The council members agreed to the meeting schedule.

Heather Georgi shared the following training videos: School Community Council and Trust Land Council Stewardship, 23 24 Council Overview, and District School Community Council- Rules of Order and Procedure. Rules of order were agreed upon by the council.

Heather Georgi presented prior year data:

• K-74% students @ or above benchmark on composite. BOY-EOY +25%
• 1- 91% students @ or above benchmark for WWR-BOY-EOY +25%
• 2-69% students @ or above benchmark on accuracy-BOY-EOY +11%
• 3-75% students @ or above benchmark on accuracy-BOY-EOY +12%
• 4-74% students @ or above benchmark on accuracy-BOY-EOY +5%
• 5-63% students @ or above benchmark on accuracy-1%
• 6-81% of students @ or above on benchmark on accuracy -+1

Action Items Voted On:

Kristi Hancock motioned to call the meeting to order at 4:05 PM. Emily Okerlund seconded the motion.

Emily Okerlund made a motion to vote on the Trustland Plan.  Betsy Holden seconded the motion.  All those members present voted in favor.

The meeting was adjourned at 4:00.
